All great art has an element of symbolism to it if we look long enough.

There are always potential allegories we can analyse, or secrets and hidden meanings we can try to tease out.

And of course, all great art is also an invitation to get to know the artist too . . . i.e to learn their story, or to understand how their unique vision of this world.
