Holy week and Easter stories are powerful, and the art you selected for this post is equally powerful in the drama and angst it conveys. Thanks, George. Great representation.

A wonderful collection illustrating the blessings through the years, varied but sharing in the many "feels" they give the viewer. Thank you

Stunning. I believe that art is God's gift to us - whether we practice it or simply admire it - to help make sense of a world that often feels impossible to understand. It draws people together in life, the great exhibition room. And though they may be from different backgrounds, opinions, religions, there's a commonality in appreciating something that transcends our human state. That's nothing but spiritual.

Wonderful display, especially the Caravaggio. Also, van Gogh's painting resembles another self-portrait by the troubled artist.

A lovely source of contemplation for this Triduum/Easter! Thank you. One of my favorites for Easter is Eugene Burnand Peter and John running to the tomb. It’s a little..saccharine? Maybe not the most beautiful or interesting painting - but it does for me what all good art should do: pull you into the moment and let you walk around a bit. To me, the expression in Peter’s eyes is remarkable.
